Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact and respond to prospective students via telephone, email, and SMS with the use of a contact strategy.
  • Assess and qualify prospective student through prequalification or interview to determine if Chamberlain University’s programs meet the academic and professional needs of the prospective student.
  • Assist the applicant through the enrollment process by collaborating with other departments to ensure positive application progression, student satisfaction and success.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships via phone in a high-volume environment.
  • Remain compliant with standards and policies of the University while operating in a student-centric environment.
  • Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to change and implement updates accordingly.
  • Work in a team environment and represent Chamberlain’s culture of care while supporting new student enrollment goals.
  • Exemplify Covista values (Teamwork, Energy, Accountability, Community, Heart) throughout all day-to-day interactions.
  • For those hired at a specific campus, host campus events for prospective students/applicants, attend local community events, and promote the university.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Has access to designated work from home office space with reliable high-speed internet OR, if hired for a specific campus, ability to report to designated campus 4-5 days a week for a full-time schedule
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proficient computer skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Eager to learn, retain, and implement new information
  • Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, weekends, and evenings to accommodate student, departmental and company’s needs

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $33.00 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
