Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance
Strong background in building systems, HVAC support, and high-volume work order management. Proven ability to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure safe, efficient facility performance. This role ensures that all building systems and equipment are functioning optimally, and that the facility remains in top condition. The Team Lead will direct daily operations, coordinate team activities, and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversees daily activities of facilities team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and high standard.

  • Support events setups, Office moves, and workspace reconfigurations.

  • Perform hands- on building Maintenance, including general repairs, trouble shooting, and preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Repair and maintain furniture, including sit/stand desks and ergonomic equipment.

  • Inventory & Safety Compliance

  • Electrical & Plumbing Support

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for scheduled services, repairs, and special projects.

  • Conduct regular daily inspections to identify hazards, maintenance needs, and improvement opportunities.

  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, faculty, and visitors.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities

  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and facility materials; ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Responds to all emergency requests and after-hours calls

  •  Will supervise and oversee office coordinators

  • Performs other duties assigned

  • Complies with all policies

  • Attends a required meeting


Qualifications

  • High School 4 CXC Subject Passes (Including English) required and High School Diploma Technical Vocational Qualification preferred
  • 3+ years experience in facilities maintenance
  • High- Performing facilities with strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and workplace safety
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Understanding of maintenance management, building envelope requirements, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work independently, Prioritize tasks, and support team operations in a corporate environment.
  • Skilled in trouble. Problem-solving, and delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally in a corporate environment

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $25.00 and $35.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
